A Girl's weekend indeed!

This past weekend was full of girly fun as Bayli and I traveled to Boise along with my sister and her two girls, Haili and Emma for Bayli and Hailey's cheer competition.

So what do a bunch of girls like to do when they get away from life and dads and brothers? Well, let's take a look...

We get to the hotel and the first thing we do is find the pool...oh yeah!! We play and splash and relax in the hot tub. Then we practice a few stunts and throw each other around a bit. The pool is the highlight of this weekend!

Of course, there is shopping and we usually end up in Claire's or Icing or some kind of jewelry store where we can try on all the glasses and fun frilly things and act really...ummm..."girly"??

Anyway, we had a good time browsing the mall.

Bayli modeling the latest in bridal wear...
Anything Zebra is what these girls are attracted to...Hailey models some adorable zebra glasses!

Emma found some sweet glasses herself, maybe a bit big?

And Haili looks darling in hats! This is actually a cute little getup, if I say so myself!

Now, to decide just exactly what to buy...hmmmmm...

Bayli and Hailey got to do a duo in the competition this year. They literally had about one hour to learn their routine and practice it full out in the gym. Other than that, they practiced in the hotel room the night before the comp. They did amazing for how little practice they had. They had tons of fun doing it and that is what matters...

Emma became pretty bored watching the hours of teams perform...she's a little dancer and isn't quite sure about this cheer stuff!

And, yes, this would be the only picture I actually took of Hailey and Bayli...I videoed every routine they did, plus all their competitors, so the picture taking was not a priority! If I figure out how to put video on my blog {{ahem}} then I will post their duo because it was pretty cute!

The teams did AWESOME!!! I was sooo excited with how well they performed! One of the flyers on Bayli's team tore ligaments in her leg two days before the comp. so they had to bring up a little girl from another team to fill in and those girls hit all of their stunts and looked soooo good for having to compromise! I was very proud of the hard work they put into their routine. It is really fun to watch them perform.
Thanks to Cori and girls for coming all the way from Utah to support Bayli...until next time...
And thanks to my awesome hubby for taking care of the rest of the kids and house while we were gone! ♥luvs♥
