After a big day at the pool, it was time for some more traditional Christmas Eve activities, starting with a yummy dinner of Clam Chowder and Broccoli soup in bread bowls, followed by the opening of our new jammies...
The girls put together a silly dance to perform for the rest of the crowd. They make up the funniest dances and ONLY in St. George! There's just something about this place that brings out the adventure in all of us!
No dance is complete without the unique "guitar leg" move!
After the entertainment, we played a game about Christmas that Matt put together. Each person rolled the dice and if they landed on a certain number had to choose a paper from the bowl and do whatever it said. Some had to look up scriptures, some share favorite memories and some had to answer questions about Christmas. Tucker and Bridget really got into it!
And the last activity of the evening was the reenactment of the Nativity. The kids really got into their roles and enjoyed getting dressed up. Tanner was Joseph, Emma was Mary, Bridget was the Angel, Haili was the donkey (who bucked poor Mary off), Bayli was the Wise Man, and Tucker was the Shepherd, baby Jesus was Brightyn. It was super cute and a fun way to end the night and get everyone ready for Christmas the next day!
