You all know this scene...kid wakes up, kid groans, "I don't feel good" mom asks "What's wrong?" kid explains in his best whiny voice "My throat hurts when I swallow and I can't stop coughing."(coughs for emphasis) Mom: "Well, what should we do?" kid: "I can't go to school." (Walks around ever so gently as if in excruciating pain) Mom: "Well, you will have to rest for the whole day, then. No going outside and no playing with friends after school." kid: "I know." And gets back in bed...UNTIL...du, du, du, duuu, the bus makes it's way down the road, honks, Tucker looks out, waves as bus drives by, and suddenly, he feels better...
I think I'll do a little homework on my computer today, then...
I'll mess around with this plastic bubble wrap on my head...then
A little D.S. never hurt anyone, and finally...
Drumming the you-know-what out of my toy box...whew, I feel tired all of the sudden!! Don't think I can go to school again tomorrow...mom sais "I've been duped!"

I had that today too! Sean called me from school to come and get him, then wanted me to take him back cause he can't miss Math. Then had me come and pick up his woods project. Now he's hanging out with a girl! I think I'm sick!!!!
Kids are connivers, I tell you. And great actors. Don't tell me they don't understand what we're talking about.
Well-and modern medicine is miraculous. Thank goodness.
