Moab 2009

Our annual family trip to Moab; we had some extreme temperatures, but all in all, we survived and enjoyed our time away as a family! My mom (Grandma Pam) and nephew, Alex made the trip with us, along with Matt's parents. Later in the week my sister, Cori and her family came and braved the coldest day of the week! We had some great rides and beautiful scenery! We just love Moab, there is soooo much to see and do that we can't get our fill even after a week...glad there's next year!

The group overlooking a canyon on a ride called Onion Creek. This was probably everyone's favorite ride of the week. It was absolutely beautiful! Bridget and Tucker hanging out in Grandma Pam's Rhino. Tucker loved this thing, I think he felt safer on here than the four-wheelers!

Matt and I on our first ride of the season "Tusher Tunnel".

Bridget and Tucker are ready and excited to get going! They rode on the back of my four-wheeler for awhile and at one point I turned around to check on them and Tucker had his arms around Bridget talking to her...so sweet!

This was the coldest ride of the week (thus the face masks, hoods and several layers of sweatshirts and jackets) It actually started snowing right about this time and we rode for a few miles in freezing cold snow! Quite the experience!

The family...

Another picture of the six of us. I climbed up on this little rocky ledge to get warm and we decided this was a perfect spot for a family pic!

Tanner and Bayli braving the nice snow we had! We have never seen it snow in Moab before, so this was quite new for us! It was wet and cold, but we made it and warmed up in the hot tub when we got back to camp!

Until next year...

Um- please come and visit us in Bakersfield. You will never cold again. Looks like fun though. We just bought a tent trailer and will be in Pismo and then in Malibu. We are hoping for perfect weather. Take care!
