Well, Summer break is officially over for our family! We just returned from our vacation with Matt's family to Redfish Lake. It was sooo much fun. I hated for it to end. We all enjoyed our 8 days of no interruptions, just our family and lots of fun and memory-making!
We stayed at a campground near Redfish for the first three nights (until we could move in to our spots right on the lake). It was a cute little place with a pool made from a natural hot spring. The kids enjoyed swimming in the warm water for an entire day!
Monday we moved to the lake. It was awesome weather, perfect for boating and beaching until about Thursday when the thunderstorms started to hit. It was still warm even though it rained. We got all our boating and playing out before then, thankfully!
All in all, it was a great time with lots of laughs, bumps and scrapes, sunburns, and memories to last a lifetime!

Sounds life fun! I totally hear you, about getting away from everything! It takes so much work to get ready to go on these trips, but once you are gone....So nice to be away!!! Glad your family had fun!!!!
